The following accomplishments have been stated by Y-NEEW based on the summer camps that they have organized etween 2001 through 2003.
1. Teaching leadership qualities to participants. As a result there have been about 10 development volunteers [boys and girls] in every village.

  Summary

 

Y-NEEW has been organizing summer camps from the year 2001 onwards for the teenagers of the less privileged communities, where Y-NEEW has been operational for the past 4 years. In our experience, what was once an externally organized programme is now fully a participated programme of the youth. The youth take lead for the past 2 years to plan, organize and implement the summer camp. It is an outcome of the leadership qualities nourished in the teenagers. We are happy to see the fruit of our hard works during the summers of past three years. This year the preparatory works have gone much ahead.
