Janarth is a Voluntary Organisation, active in Gangapur block and urbans of Aurangabad district, Maharashtra, since 1986. Its activities have focussed on Women''s Issues, Natural Resource Management, Education, Economic & Income generation, Rehabilitation of the Disabled and Warehousing & Marketing Assistance.

Janarth has helped develop the faith and the equal relationships with the people both in the rural and the urban work areas. It has helped in raising the literacy levels in the villages and creating a sustainable environment for continuing education beyond Janarth''s presence. A cadre of workers from the beneficiary groups who now translate the objectives of Janarth in the field and thus created a strong support system. Janarth has been running Economic programmes which are self sustaining. They are a check on unfair trade practices of the traditional traders in the area. At the same time they provide quality agriculture inputs at fair prices to the farmers and give a higher return on their produce.
