  NGO Goals

 

 

The goals of the NHO- Mahashakti are clearly defined and the organization has been running many government funded projects for the past 9 years.

Their main goals are

1. Propagate the use of natrual dyes and say no to checmicals.

2. Make women economically independent.
3. rehabilitate the gas affected women.

  Achievements

 

So far they have been able to train all the 5000 women working for the NGO. They are trained as block printers, embroiders and screen printers.

  Summary

 

The women are traned to be artisans by making dying cloth using natrual colours. These use traditional methods like block printing, screen printing batik etc. Once they ar etrained these women will be encouraged to start their own busness.
