  NGO Goals



Kids whom you would have probably come across in the streets of Bangalore either as rag pickers or beggars, are being groomed to be proud citizens of our country. Not just education, but input of rich Indian cultural values into every aspect of their life makes the group of kids at NELE truly outstanding.

Nele operates at four location in Bangalore , with the center for boys known as Narendra Nele (named after the great Swami Vivekananda more...



Narendra Nele which had a strength of 55, with kids of age group from 4 yrs to 12 yrs. Niveditha Nele has 28 girls. The kids are chosen based upon their distress condition. Kids who are found rag picking and begging are given first preference, while kids who are orphan and have no one else to take care of them are given next preference. Those kids whose parents cannot afford to take care of the ki more...



The project needs funding for the expenses of the children. Expense per kid per year is around Rs 10000/-. Started, with 15 kids in 2000, now they provide shelter to around 100 in Bangalore.
