To bring grassroots changes in Basiya and Kamdaara in the Gumala District, in Karra, Torpa and Raniya Blocks of Khunti District, and in Bano Block of the Simdega District.

  Achievements

 

At present, Achara is trying to bring about grassroots changes in Basiya and Kamdaara in the Gumala District, in Karra, Torpa and Raniya Blocks of Khunti District, and in Bano Block of the Simdega District. Education is being given. For this, reports of dialogs held with the Chief Editor of ''''Prabhat Khabar'''' are being published.
Collections are being made of the folk songs in various triba more...

  Summary

 

Achara is an organization that has been working actively on various matters since the past 5 years. This organization is not registered. Achara has been working on the basis of mutual cooperation of friends to strengthen the participation of women and youth in social, financial, and cultural areas. Achara has also published "Munda Disham", a collection of folk songs in the Mundari language of the Munda tribals in order to support the language and culture (of these people).
