  NGO Goals

 

 

Vision – To develop a collective voice and leadership of youths in the region
Goal – To work with youths from the Melghat region as well as adjoining block of Achalpur empowering them with proper knowledge, skills and opportunities for development


  Achievements

 

It was in this context that KHOJ began its work. In the beginning our focus was on understanding the region, the people and the problems. The approach was to learn from the people and share with them the learning’s that we had gained from our training, education and exposure.

KHOJ is a voluntary organisation working in Melghat region of Amravati district since 1996. We began as a group of young professionals with a will to change the situation of the rural and tribal people in parts of Maharashtra. A few of us chose to work in the Melghat region.
