CES seeks to promote

1) Equity within Human Society today bridging the gap between the rich and the poor, the powerful and the disempowered and the advantaged and disadvantaged
2) Inter-generational equity within the human society seeking ways to ensure that the current generation does not destroy the social and environmental fabric of the society
3) Inter-species equity - seeking waysto giving a voice to all other species with whom more...

1) CES helps host the National Campaign for People's right to information
2) Colloborated with MKSS in training different State Governments on operationalizing the Right to Information Act
3) Supported PIL on right to food campaign and is also focussing on different food related schemes in different State Govts
4) Developed publications in English and other languages explaining different more...

  Summary

 

CES is engaged in research and advocacy in issues of social justice. It seeks to enquire into the nature and causes of issues of social injustice and to collectively find methods for a more equitable world. Towards this end it seeks to provide to platform for different people across the development spectrum - academics, activists and civil servants to work collobaratively
