  NGO Goals

Vijay Foundation Trust commits to improve the lives of women and children in need. The aims are two-fold

1) Supporting Children: protect, take care, educate, give a happy childhood to underprivilaged children and provide them opprtunities for a secure tomorrow

2) Supporting women: provide access to information, infrastructure, health care and training to women in order to provide opportunities for empowerment and independence

Supporting Children:
- Successfully set up Aarti Home (in 1992), place that brings up orphaned children in a healthy and a loving atmosphere.
- Co-Managing and Improving Children's Home for Boys in Cuddapah (started from 2003).
- Financially supported about 15 needy students in Cuddapah pursue their educational and career goals.

Supporting Women:
- Trained women in various voca more...

VFT is an established NGO in the Cuddapah region with focussed work to benefit orphaned and poor children and women and experience of more than 10 years.
VFT has earned a great reputation in and around Cuddapah for grass-roots level initiatives. This is attested by the fact that the District Collector recommended VFT as the organization to co-manage the previously state govt-run juvenile home in Cuddapah in 2003. VFT took over the home that was in bad shape and with help from AID-Boston, has brought about marked change in the living conditions at the home thereafter and has more initiatives planned in the pipeline.
