Initiated by Janpath, the Agaria Heet Rakshak Manch (AHRM)
Since its inception has been working as an informal group of organizations, co-operative soc and individuals. Now the manch has reached to the level where the government and other stakeholders are ready to share a dais with it. With the proposed project we have envisaged that the program will help to empower Community Base Organization on grass root level.

 
 

  Achievements

 

 

1.Community leader are negotiating for improved services 3.Agariya heet Rakshak Sangh (community organization) leading towards self sufficiency 4.Agariya gets representation in National empowered Committee. 5.Formulation of a standard policy by government on saltpan workers 6.AHRK physical construction is completed in all three centers and they are being used as Resource Center.

 

  Goals

 

 

1. Intensifying Advocacy efforts and networking for consensus building on larger level and influencing the policies. 2.To complement and support community based monitoring system for effective implementation of Govt. schemes on Welfare of Agaria 3.Evolving Manch as community managed and self-sustainable institution.
