Annapoorna Charitable Trust is a Non-Governmental Charitable Organization established in the year 2004. This Organization was formed by a group of like minded people with the noble vision to look after the growing needs of the socially deprived children of the society.

The Mission/Vision of Balya is clearly articulated in their statement: “On a larger plane of thought and action, this Trust envisages on a humanistic path to adopt abandoned and deprived children and to inculcate discipline and make them responsible citizens of the Nation.”





Presently there are 42 children accommodated in this premises out of which 20 are Boys and 22 are Girls. Out of these 42 children, 33 children are studying in different classes from LKG to 7 in Kannada (Local Language) and English medium schools. Other children would be going to school from next Academic year.





This trust’s major aim is to establish a Home for the Orphan Children with the following action points: 1) To identify deprived and orphan children and admit them into the Children Home 2) Provide these children with hygienic food and shelter with comfortable living conditions 3) Bring up the children with love and affection 4) Inculcate and build good character, moral values of life and make them lead a disciplined way of life 5) Prepare the children as good citizens of the Country by providing them the basic education 6) Improve their vocational and other personal skills so that they can live independently by earning their own livelihood 7) To provide them with all basic necessities to become respectable citizens of the Country and provide them the conditions to lead a dignified life 8) To develop interest and respect the culture and traditions of Indian Society 9) Trust also intends to arrange adoption of children through the statutory bodies so that they will have a home and parental love
