  Summary

 

 

One of our important patient care programme is for cardiac patient. We have some very sick patients, who need surgery for the rheumatic heart disease. Rheumatic hearth disease is classical heart disease of poor. They are very sick and could benefit from open heart surgery but do not have the means to pay for it. Without surgical treatment over 40% of the patients die within a year.

We serve rural and tribal population of more than 1500 villages. About 100000 people get benefited each year. JSS-AID partnership is quite old and the areas of AID support are - Leprosy Protein supplements to Tuberculosis patients Phulwari-Nutrition care for under 3 years children. Empowering village health workers Medical equipments and infrastructure Cell medicine
