  Summary

 

 

This is a project in the Purulia district of West Bengal. Right to Information (RTI) act is a powerful act through which people can obtain information about any public document. This project plans to effectively demonstrate the use of this right to make government in this district more accountable while also make government services less corrup and more available and efficient. Through these examples and through awareness campaigns, Mandra Lions Club also hopes to increase public awareness about RTI and their other lawful rights and energize public movement towards filing RTIs and ensuring their rights are preserved.
