This is an initiative to revive millet cultivation in the farmer community and encourage more and more farmers to take millet cultivation. This initiative is to also spread awareness among people about millets in general and the various millets products in particular.





- So, far 259 farmers have been encouraged and have taken up millet cultivation and the yield was good. - There is lot of awareness among people about millets and demand for them is slowly increasing. - Government has promised to include millets in mid day meal schemes for 2 days in a week in Anantapur diet, but has not yet implemented.





Goals - - To encourage farmers to take up millet cultivation. - To spread awareness among people about millets - To work with other NGOs and groups to encourage millet cultivation. - To expand the inclusion of millets in government schemes.
