There are 4 major factors influence the health system in any
1) Unequal distribution of resources & services which lead to the mal–nutrition
inadequate basic health and unhygienic conditions.
2) Ignorance and inertia of people on their body and health.
3) Internalization of western practices of medicines replacing the traditional
knowledge systems and practices on health
4) Lack of political will of the State (Government) to ensure health for all.
Our concern is for – agricultural labourers, dalits, adivasis, marginal farmers, rural
artisans, women & children, as these are categories of people cannot afford to
restore good health due to above mentioned factors.

SAHANIVASA is committed to address the health issue in holistic manner considering health is a socio economic and political issue of the people. Therefore, it has collaborated with AID DUKE Chapter for the implementation of alternative health program in Piler mandal covering 103 villages.
