Motivate and support small and marginal dry land farmers to take us LEISA techniques

Facilitate implementation of NREGA with the main objective to ensure creation of long term assets and facilities that support LEISA



 
 

  Achievements

 

 

Last Year a large pond on an individual farmersí land was build, and The farmer has been growing several crops (cotton, tomato, chillis, dhania, ragi etc) on 2-3 acres with the help of this pond water. Has added couple of cattle because of more fodder from this land. Has started raising fish in the pond (not yet harvested). Was able to make 90,000 bricks from the soil dug out of the pond and has sold it with a profit of Rs.60,000

Summarized Goal: Increasing awareness amongst small and marginal farmers regarding the various govt. programs that can be implemented in their villages Assist and monitor the implementation so that the benefits reach the right people Working with various departmental officials to increase the effectiveness of their service delivery
