More acceptance is now there about the long term yield and other benefits of organic farming practices. 2. Ravi at Magadi and Govindaraj at Chintamani taluks respectively have become main co-ordinators, interfacing with the Government and the people. They have been able to make sure that NREGA activities are undertaken, wages paid and development is sutained in these areas. 3. Other programs like MKSP, seed banks, Raitha Shakthi Sanga are either in planned or implemented phases and there is now more awareness among vilagers to make full use of Government schemes. 4. As part of NREGA activities, several farm ponds have been created, trees planted along farm borders, etc.
