  Summary

Amlasole is a remote village in Binpur-II Block, West Midnapore District of the State of West Bengal, which is inhabited primarily by Munda and Sabar communities (scheduled tribe), who are not only very poor but also deprived of different government services they are entitled to.
A-non-formal school is in place since 2004; teachers have been appointed, a system of ‘training the trainers’ has been put in place, four books have been written specially for these children, incorporating their own idioms and environment. A fifth book is in the pipeline.

Also, moderate mid-day meal has been arranged and some visits by doctors and immunization/treatment have been initiated.
