  Achievements

- Our campaign ‘save the girl child’ for whole years shown positive result. Out of total New Born (i.e. 866) 434 male and 429 female babies. Male-female ratio reduced to 1000M/989F in new generation. Previous year that ratio for Nagpur city and our area was 1000M/911F. - Still birth i.e. dead child delivered. Base line i.e. in 2011-2012 still birth rate was 18.4 with our Arogyasakhi’s efforts still birth rate reduced up to 12.7 in year 2012-2013. - Maternal mortality rate also reduced up to 115 in year 2012-2013 (only one maternal death in a year which is in the hospital). Baseline was 325/per 1 lac live birth. - In First year 2011-2012 we reduced the Neonatal Mortality rate up to 18. In 2012-2013 total birth are 866 and neonatal deaths are 16. All neonatal deaths are in hospital. Now in our are 96% deliveries are in the hospital. Neonatal death in the Govt. hospital are not under our control. These deaths due to mismanagement in the hospital, carelessness and uncleanness of Govt. hospital. We are trying to advocate these issues with management of Govt. hospitals and state Govt.

  Goals

- Minimize the Neonatal and Maternal Morbidity and Mortality(NMR and MMR) below par with National average in selected slums of Nagpur city. - To increase the cumulative Neonatal Health and Maternal Health index (based on parameter of registration ANC checkups, Institutional deliveries and JSY) of the operational area. - To increase the functionality of (Quantitative and Qualitative) of the community support structures (Community Health Committees and Emergency Health Funds).
