As part of REDC, ARTI would operate pilot scale commercial units, which would help the trainees to get hands on experience of working in a commercial environment. The income generated by these
establishments as well as the training fees charged to the trainees, would eventually make the REDC self-sustaining after an incubation period of 2-3 years.In addition to the technincal part, special entrepreurship training(basics of salesmanship, accounting, book
keeping, loan applications, taxes, etc) would also be imparted to the trainees. Funding asked for is for purchase of teaching aids(color television set, vcr, slide projector, overhead projector and voltage
stabilizer) which comes to a total of Rs 95,000.

The Rural Entrepreneurship Development Centre(REDC) will be established for training rural inhabitants and to help them in establishing their own businesses based on these technologies.
