  Summary

The project is the brainchild of Lt. Gen. Arjun Ray (retd.) who was also behind Operation Sadbhavana in J&K. His goal is to put 100 girls from Ladakh through college within the next few years. The girls are chosen based on their academic performance and feedback from school principals in Ladakh. They are put up in a ladies hostel in Ladakh under the care of Gen. Ray and go through 11th and 12th stds and then college leading to degrees which will hopefully help them give back to their communities.

  Achievements

So far 27 girls have been enrolled in the program. The first batch of 19 girls have graduated from high school and will be entering college shortly.
