GREEN Foundation in collaboration with VOICES, Bangalore plans to start a community radio program
in Karnataka. Villagers from Kanakapura and
Denkanikotai taluks will be trained on audio production and broadcasting and they will produce programs which will be broadcast in AIR and through narrow-casting. Program content will include information about on-farm seed conservation and sustainable agriculture
among other material.










1.To sensitize the farmerís community at Kanakapura and Denkanikotai taluks on community radio with the objective of strenthing the local information networks 2. Creating awareness on on-farm conservation of indigenous seed diversity among the farming community. 3. To disseminate knowledge of indigenous see conservation activities. 4. Develop and operationalise farmers own radio station in long run
