The project will work in Bhadesar- Nimbahera region of Chittorgarh district where the proportion of dalits and tribals is very high. The project will focus on
1: Bonded labourers,
2: Land alienation of dalits and tribals.
3: Womens empowerment.

1. 4 Bonded labourers freed by Jan 1st 2005 2. 59 Lakhs worth of land (60 Bighas) has been freed by Jan 1st 2005

 

  Goals

 

 

The main aim of the project is to create awareness among the tribal and dalit population of Bhadesar- Nimbahera region of Chittorgarh district. In the first one year of the project, the following are the objectives: 1: The project will identify people whose land has been illegally snatched and support them in getting their land back. The project aims to free land worth one and a half crore rupees in the first year of work. 2: Identifying, freeing and rehabilitating bonded labour. In the first year, the project aims to free 50 bonded labour. 3: The project will form self help groups for women in the villages for their empowerment. In the first year, the project aims to form 75 self help groups.
