  Summary

 

 

This project proposes rehabilitation of 20 women through Herbal oil production in Bhopal. For AID, this would be one of the first initiatives in livelihood generation activities in the the gas affected area of Bhopal.
Team of five members from the community will be responsible for marketing and sales, occasional help of professional salesman may be needed for various sales promotion activities. Administration and management will be done locally by themselves. However the project coordinator and Koshish group members will be responsible for reporting, monitoring and supervision of the project. Net profit of the project at the end of the financial year will be transferred to Koshish, which will be used for further activities of the group by mutual consent.

Koshish will start a training center in community where training will be given for preparing herbal oil for joint pain, herbal oil for problem of hair falling, panchsakar churn (powder for digestion). Herbal tooth powder and skin pack. Training will be last for 45 days. After training, AID will sanction loan for starting their work. AID will appoint a person who will guide the trainees for sales and marketing. Koshish will be responsible for the selection of trainee from different communities. A sum of Rupees 3,36,420 will be needed to run the training center for one year and to rehabilitate 20 persons
