Sahanivasa believes that the health is an integral part of various dimensions and factors of life, which influences the health status of a family and also a community. Therefore the health project is designed in such a way that the people are organized to address the various interconnected issues of the health of people and community, so that the people live with sound health and dignity.

Objectives: 1.Organize women as a separate associations in every village and form federation to build the culture of collective decision / action to restore the land Rights & equal wages 2.To educate and sensitize the women on their health status and demystify the myths created about market lead health programs and practices. 3.Build confidence on the locally available nutritional based crops and foods and inculcate the usage of such foods 4.Promote the skills and knowledge to prepare and use the herbal and ayurveda medicines to combat the chronic diseases. 5.Educate and sensitize on the issues of AIDS and encourage people to take preventive measures. 6.Promote gender sensitization and gender rights programs and mobilize state resources as the right of the women to claim due share from national economy.
