Intervention Programme for prevention and treatment of problems related to Sexual/Reproductive Health in Thiruppuvanam Block of Sivagangai District In Tamil Nadu
This proposal was jointly reviewed by PennState and Philadelphia chapters. Since AID and TNSF has a substantial intervention program in Tamil Nadu it was proposed to SENSE that the funding will be through AID-Chennai. AID-Chennai will also provide training and resource material to SENSE field volunteers for implementing the program.
The program is now being implemented jointly by SENSE and AID-Chennai

SENSE has a good track record of past projects. Rajaraman Ramnarayanan, a PennState volunteer visited them to learn about their past projects.
Some of their past projects include
1. Reproductive and Community Health(RCH) program implemented in 14 villages in Tirppuvanam block
2. Child Care program funded by TN welfare board
3. Total Rural Sanitation program funded by TN state govt.
4. Bridge course funded by govt. of India.
For the current project we will be following up with the NGO at regular intervals and update this section
