Ongoing Integrated Development Project in Srikakulam District. First direct intervention by AID India at the field level alone. Bottom up, grassroot approach in multiple areas - Electricity connections, Water issues, Kitchen gardens, Vermicomposting, Children run libraries, malnutrition, village product distribution network and Nirupedalu program for poorest of the poor.





->180 people have got electricity connections since AID India intervention. -> Ground work for water issue addressing has been laid. ->35 BIG plots as part of the Kitchen garden program. -> 1 Acre farm donated by Surya has been put to good use. ->Children run libraries have been a success - close to 670 children have used and been part of it. -> Weighing of children for malnutrition ongoing. -> Nirupedalu survey has been conducted and the program in place





The program aims to address a multitude of issues using a small amount of funds with a grassroot approach with people''''s involvement.
