Health Intervention in Karnataka based on the Arogya Iyakkam model of TN with HRDFL group.Pilot project to be started in 3 blocks.





In the month of April 2005, Prasanna presented the overall plan to the State Committee of HRFDL.The State Committee then sent a message to Prasanna choosing Pavagada Taluk, Bidar Taluk , Doddaballapur Taluk.The comprehensive Health program in 3 Blocks of Karnataka with the organisation Human Rights. Process of identifing and training voluteers has also begun in 2 taluks. Forum for Dalit Liberation (HRFDL) was formally launched on the Independence Day, August 15th 2005.





The comprehensive health intervention to be started as a pilot in 3 Taluks with 25-30 village hamlets each Taluk on the lines of the Arogya Iyakkam Model (Taking Malnutrition of the child as the basic unit and then integrating the other issues like the nutrition of the mother etc.,) for which training would be given.
