Site visit report uploaded by Tarun jain(tjain01@gmail.com). Site visit was conducted in July 2006. A new proposal put forth requesting support for awareness program was voted for and approved in the CSH on 11/02/06

  Goals

Broadly we are working towards two major goals: 1. providing comprehensive training and education to intellectually challenged children and adults. We have been working with 10+ age group attending to their whole life time needs e.g., vocational training, work/employment opportunities, recreation and social interaction, awareness about one’s society and environment and self advocacy. Teaching vocational skills, computer learning, sports, art & craft, music dance and theatre and cognitive enrichment is the part of our curriculum. 2. empowering the p[arents and family members through emotional support and knowledge sharing. Quarterly journal Indradhaush, workshops and lectures are part of the programs. Counseling, guidance, assessment and therapeutic intervention is provided under Buti Health & Research Centre, a project managed by Muskaan with the help of Buti Foundation of India.
