Vatsalya is in NGO located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with focus on rehabilitating orphaned and abondoned children aiming at their complete social integration based on child right approach. The organization also works towards community development through action research, training and technology based innovations. The organization has 50 plus employees with about a dozen projects in Rajasthan. The vision of Vatsalya is to convert social and economic liabilities into social and economic assets with a philosophy to promote commitment, integrity and transparency. The NGO is seeking funding for one of its major projects named Udyan: A home for orphaned and abondoned children.





- Scholarship program for young girls from poor families who want to pursue higher studies - “Food for Homeless Children” program to feed Street Children of Jaipur. - About a dozen projects in state of Rajasthan. - Major projects: Udayan: A home for orphaned and abandoned children Karuna: An outreach services for the street children Kavach: An educational and service oriented project for truckers to prevent HIV/AIDS CRY supported awareness and empowerment related activities Indian Space Research Organization supported rural development activities. Partnerships with European Commission, UNFPA, UNICEF, GOR, GOI, Mott MacDonald, TCI Foundation, Foundation Jaipur, The Netherlands, Foundation Children of Tomorrow, The Netherlands, Shanti Foundation, The Netherlands, and VVAF & IHS, USA.





Udyan is a fulltime residential care service for orphaned and abandoned children. It is a child Village spread over 11 acre piece of land in the outskirts of Jaipur city. There are residential facilities for children besides the school, library and computer section, medical centre, meditation centre, vocational training units, staff quarters, mess and ample space for play activities. The goals of Udyan are to enable orphaned and abandoned children grow into responsible adults and live a happy and productive life, developing self sustaining skills among children, and offer the option of vocational training to children after they at least finish their primary education. Udyan offers training in baking, cooking, tailoring, mechanical training, plumbing, electrical work, and dairy farming.
