  Summary

The project is about mobilizing spearheading groups to initiate activities that are essential components of livelihood & eco development projects. The key issues to be addressed are getting the villagers out of dependency syndrome and to motivate them to use assistance to build assets. The goal should be to generate employment over the long term through productive work for the resource poor. It is expected that partnerships of landowners and the poor come forward to use EGA and credit to develop water sources and regenerate degraded soil.
The focus will be on augmentation of water sources, saving water and extending irrigation and energy service to meet the need of organic food production and diversified agriculture.
