  Achievements

A detailed listing of their achievements over the past has been listed in their annual report attached.

  Goals

To support DF primarily to get them back on track as they are the resource base for many of people''s movements like NBA in Delhi and also to help them with their following objectives 1. To represent the concerns of the social action groups and peoples’ movements in the National Capital of India; 2. To strengthen struggles of dalit and adivasi/tribal communities for social justice and against all forms of discrimination; 3. To make the Government and the State aware of the peoples’ concerns, their social, political, economic, civil and cultural rights, especially that of the most vulnerable and marginalized – dalits, adivasis/tribals, women and minorities; 4. To create a political space for the social action groups and autonomous peoples movements and enhance their capacities towards building up and strengthening of civil and political institutions and strengthen democracy. Delhi Forum has been working on the ground with these groups for more than 20 years and working with them would be a tremendous learning experience for volunteers
