  Summary

- Omashram is a charitable trust founded in 2001 with the objective of providing care and succor to the old, drawn from the poor and middle class and abandoned by their families. The residents have not been able to afford any payment towards the organization due to their poor economic background. The organization would like to offer free boarding, lodging and nursing facilities to such people if the funds are forthcoming.

- The old age home is housed in a rented premises and had tobe shifted thrice during the last five years. We have set up a building fund (30lacs for land & 30lacs for construction) and hope to raise the funds to enable us to have our own infrastructure.

- This would help us to house orphaned children in the same premises and see the combination of the young and old.

- The organization has already begun geriatric training in nursing in the premises by identifying girls above the age of 18 from poor families and provide them with the facility to make a living of their own by getting suitably appointed.

- Our major goal is HELP.

A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PART OF THE PROJECT FOR WHICH FUNDING IS REQUESTED

- We would like to reach out to more needy people and continue our cause. Due to severe financial problems, we are unable to cope with the situations.

- Hence we look forward to funding in these directions.
1. Recurring expenses of a minimum of 50,000 – 75,000 per month (Old age home + Orphanage)
