  Summary

"Praja Chetna" in Telugu means Creating Awareness among the masses!
This project provides support to a few full-time coordinators who will organize agricultural labourers in 10 Mandals (administrative blocks) in Visakhapatnam district. Through the process of forming unions and collectives of unorganized labourers, mostly from Dalit, backward caste and adivasi families, it is expected that they can become stronger in working on land rights, receive their entitlements from the government, and press the government to protect their interests.
